“nofollow tag” is for
requesting to the Google not to pass any page rank to the link you give as
external link from your site. If you do not give nofollow relation in the
external links means your site page rank will passes to other site and link
spammers will take the advantage of your site’s page rank. Google Bot would no
longer treat no followed links. We should avoid using nofollow tag while giving
in the external links to your supporting blogs, social media pages, in between
the webpages on your site and your other authorship sites. It helps to improve
the visibility of those pages in the search engine results by improving the
page rank.
